08 Sep The 5 P’s Guide to Triumph Like Superhero Ganesh
From Dreams to Gold Standard
Happy Ganesh Chaturthi, folks! Today is the day when we celebrate the awesome vibes of a man who is referred to as ‘the remover of obstacles’, the one and only Superhero Ganesha. Ganesh Chaturthi is the beginning of the party, where life gets ready to shine, after a good spell of monsoon, towards the fabulous things that lay ahead of us.
Ganesh, our elephant-headed friend, wasn’t just born with the superpowers we know of now. Nope, like all of us, he was a normal kid who learned along the way by winning some battles, and by losing quite a few others! Legend has it that he was a curious kid and often, as curious people often do, encountered obstacles. But the thing is that when one is curious enough, they learn to remove those obstacles too. From facing his share of challenges, he cracked the algo of how to remove obstacles—whether they were outside him or within—and soon began helping others remove theirs too. Lo and behold, see what an amazing welcome we give him now!
So, doesn’t that make you wonder, how did this kid, now “Superhero Ganesh”, do so well? Well, it all comes down to the 5 P’s: Plan, Prepare, Present, Perform, and Peak. Sounds simple, but as Ganesh would tell you, it takes guts, wisdom, and a whole lot of heart too. Let’s explore. Who knows, maybe one-day people will be talking about “Superhero You” as the God who cracked the code to an epic life!

Plan
Strategy is King
Imagine Ganesh sitting on a woody tree stump, calmly mapping out his next move. Before charging into any problem, he takes a moment to think things through. He tells us that we got to imagine the end, identify the roadblocks ahead, and strategise the smartest way to clear them. In effect, Ganesh is a master planner, and he never dives in without a good dollop of clarity in his mind. And that’s the first lesson: To overcome obstacles, we need to dream big and also think smart. Strategy, my dear reader, is king!

Prepare
The Calm Before the Action
Ganesh wasn’t born, or just wake up one day, fully equipped to face the world. Nope, it’s not going to be that easy (even if your daddy is a dude, and your mama is an angel)! Ganesh trained, prepared, and sharpened his tools of curiosity, knowledge, planning, and empathy. It’s in those quiet moments of preparation, away from the chaos of internet scrolling, OTT binging, and guzzling fast-food, that success takes root. Picture him polishing his skills until they could be used to slice through any difficulty. Ganesh teaches us that readiness is everything—discipline and patience are our best friends when preparing for the challenges ahead. The lesson here? Stay Calm and Keep Preparing, and trust that when the time comes, we’ll be ready.
Stay Calm
and
Keep Preparing
and trust that when the time comes, we’ll be ready
Present
Seize the Moment
When the moment comes, you’ve got to step up, just like how Superhero Ganesh does! He doesn’t shy away when it’s time to shine. Whether it’s taking center stage or quietly supporting those who seek his benevolence, Ganesh is always there to act. Being present means owning the space and embracing our superpowers. It’s about showing up, even if we’re scared or unsure. Because, as Ganesh would remind us, half the battle is just being present when and where opportunity knocks.

Perform
Take the Leap
Now, here is the scoop you might have been waiting for. When Ganesh swings into action, it’s no half-hearted attempt. He throws himself into the task with full force. Yeah, let’s talk about his broken tusk. That wasn’t just an accident—it became a symbol of his dedication to the cause. He performed with all his might, no matter the odds. Break a tusk, oopsy we don’t have one, instead we will break a few muscles (break no bones please) :)! Like Ganesh, once we’ve planned and we’ve prepared, it’s time to leap. We give it everything we’ve got, leave our doubts behind, and trust that we’re ready. The obstacles? Whether we win, or we lose, should not matter because… obstacles crumble once you bring your all.

Peak
Beyond Winning
Now, here’s the final secret sauce of Superhero Ganesh—he never stops at just clearing the obstacles. I wonder why no one told this to us before! He has been popularised as the ‘remover of obstacles,’ but surely, while he might’ve cleared the path, the story doesn’t end here because, “Story abhi baki hain, mere dost!”… every obstacle conquered is just the start of something bigger. Ganesh is all about growth, pushing limits, and constantly aiming further, removing obstacles, repeat the loop. To peak means to understand that the journey never really ends. There’s always more to learn, more challenges to face, more obstacles to clear, and more winnings to celebrate, for us and for others. So, let’s don’t just stop when we hit one goal. We must look ahead to the next adventure, with all its obstacles, waiting to get cleared by us!
The journey never ends – there’s more to learn, more challenges to face, more obstacles to clear
In summary…
So, there we have it—the 5 P’s of Superhero Ganesh! Next time we’re facing a mountain of challenges, we’ll trigger our inner Ganesh. We plan smart, prepare well, show up, perform like a superhero, win, and aim higher. We do this for ourselves and for everyone who seeks our benevolence.
Ganesh may be a god today, but his journey from a playful child to “the remover of obstacles” proves that greatness comes from effort and heart, and it applies to everyone who has, or believes they have, a bit of “Superhero Ganesh” in them. More often than not, for those who believe and follow the 5 P’s of Superhero Ganesh, there’s no obstacle we can’t remove!

That’s the Ganesha way, a gold standard to emulate. This Ganesh Chaturthi can we pull off the same magic? Absolutely.

I find Wikipedia to be a good resource for learnings, because it has huge library of conetnt, free-for-all and free-of-advertisements. That Wikipedia remains free-for-all and ad-free would require contribution from some of us. This Ganesh Chaturthi let’s make a donation to the “Superhero of Repository of Knowledge” – Wikipedia.
